SEREMBAN
– The first new version of
COTDS 2004 went on live today at Hospital Seremban. The new
COTDS 2004 system will replace the old COTDS system that was
used by Hospital Seremban to collect data on Operating
Theater cases. Data collected using the COTDS will be
consolidated and managed for the quarterly Peri-Operative
Mortality Review (POMR) initiated by the Malaysian Ministry
of Health.
Prior to the
new system going live, Amorphous Team conducted a training
session to brief the COTDS system users in Hospital Seremban
which consists of nurses, surgeons and anesthetist on the
usage of the new COTDS system. They were given a week’s
period to familiarize themselves to the new system prior to
the live date. Amorphous support team continues to monitor
and provide support to the new COTDS users from Hospital
Seremban.
Hospital
Seremban is the first of the three pilot sites to adopt the
new COTDS 2004 system developed by Amorphous. The other two
pilot sites include Hospital Kuala Lumpur and Hospital
Selayang.
