  AMORPHOUS CONDUCTS ICU WORKSHOPS IN PENANG  
 
 

Eastin Hotel - The Acute Myocardial Infarction (AMI) Case Management System has been operational since 2003. Amorphous plays a role in this project by providing health informatics consultancy, system development, and project management expertise. This system provides users with an electronic care pathway, decision support system and data collection format for all patients presenting with acute myocardial infarction. Its main aim is to monitor the cases and management of patients with acute myocardial infarction, and assisting the healthcare professional to diagnose and implement thrombolytic therapy. The data collected is then directed to a central server for backup and reporting to Ministry of Health. This workshop was facilitated by Mr Abdollah Salleh and attended by senior cardiologists, including Dato' Dr Omar, Dato' Dr Ramachandran, Dr Jeyainderan, CCU sisters and nurses around the country to assess and plan for phase 2 of this project.
