Accident & Emergency OT, Hospital Kuala Lumpur - Amorphous conducted a user-training session for staff of HKL's Accident & Emergency (A&E) OT on Computerized OT Documentation System (COTDS) 2004. Amorphous developed and deployed an enhanced version of COTDS in HKL, starting with paediatric surgery OT, maternity OT, and A&E OT. This training session included an overview of the project, followed by presentations on the COTDS and hands-on training session. The system, already up and running in Seremban Hospital's OT since mid-2004, will collect surgical related information into a central database, and these data will be used for nationwide reporting and utilized by Peri-Operative Mortality Review (POMR) discussions.
