Neurosurgical OT, Hospital Kuala Lumpur - Amorphous conducted a user-training session for staff of HKL's neurosurgical OT on Computerized OT Documentation System (COTDS) 2004. Amorphous developed and deployed an enhanced version of COTDS in HKL, starting with pediatric surgery OT, maternity OT, A&E OT, and neurosurgical OT. This training session included an overview of the project, followed by presentations on the COTDS and hands-on training session. The system, already up and running in Seremban Hospital's OT since mid-2004, will collect surgical related information into a central database, and these data will be used for nationwide reporting and utilized by Peri-Operative Mortality Review (POMR) discussions.
