AMI SYSTEM TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT AT HOSPITAL BANTING

Hospital Banting - Amorphous AMI (Acute Myocardial Infarction) project team conducts system training and deploys AMI Case Management System to Hospital Banting. The AMI system consists of both data collection format and decision support system via care pathways. Its objective is to improve diagnosis and management of Acute Myocardial Infarction in the country whilst collecting data for healthcare quality assessment. Change Management has always been an important factor in Amorphous while dealing with new deployments. As such, our dedicated team of project managers and engineers will be on hand to handle practical hands-on trainings for all new site deployments. The initial phase of project implementation was pilot trial of paper forms, which will be replaced with electronic data entry after the end-users are thoroughly familiar with the work processes and data fields of the system. This strategy has helped increase the quality of the data collected and also efficiencies of electronic data entry.
