- Amorphous deployed the
Emergency Calls and Ambulances
Dispatch Information System
(ECADIS) system in Hospital Batu
Pahat with user training given
by Paul Yong (Project
Manager) and Richard Lee
(System Analyst).
Present in the
training were the Accident &
Emergency (A&E) Medical
Assistants and A&E Staff Nurses.
Staff were briefed and trained
extensively on some of the newly
installed components. One of
such was the Call Logger feature
which, were successfully
installed and is currently
connected to the direct line
which is used to receive
emergency calls.
ECADIS was
upgraded to version 1.0.23, with
ambulance information added into
the system. Training session was
conducted in a role-playing
manner where someone acted as
the "caller" requesting for
ambulance assistance and the
other person on the "receiver"
end, provided information with
the help of the system.
At the end of the
training, it was noted that the
users were equally excited and
impressed by the call logger
system. Amorphous will continue
to monitor and upgrade (should
there be newer versions) the
ECADIS system.
