user-training session and
workshop of SyNapse ICU system
for more hospitals. SyNapse ICU
system, developed by Amorphous,
is the electronic data
collection system for National
Audit on Adult ICU (NAICU)
project in which Amorphous was
involved since 2002.
Training was
conducted by Amorphous staff,
Gowri Nambiar (Customer
Support Executive) with the
assistance of Richard Lee
(System Analyst). Areas
covered included:

the
introduction of forms that
are being used during the
process of Adult ICU Audit
in the ICU Unit
-
to provide
knowledge of auditing
process, how to fill in the
SAPS, ICU referral and ICU
booking forms
Participants of this workshop
included site coordinators and data
collectors from various hospitals.
The NAICU committee, including Dr Ng
Siew Hian (Head of
Anaesthesiology Department, HKL),
Dr Tai Li Ling (Anaesthesiology
Specialist, HKL), Dr Jenny Tong
(Anaesthesiology Specialist,
Hospital Seremban) and Dr Tan
Cheng Cheng (Anaesthesiology
Specialist, Hospital Sultanah Aminah)
were also in attendance.
